With a mission to expand the reach of wireless technology education across the globe, QWA has trusted Panopto to power their global academy for over eight years.
The organization was already deploying new technology to expand online learning when the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to fully adopt eLearning almost overnight.
The Solution
“Traditionally, in-person training had been our core focus, with supplementary eLearning components. COVID-19 accelerated our movement into online learning,” said Vikram Malhotra, Senior Director of Program Management at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
“We were lucky to already have a relationship with Panopto that primed us to adapt to the boom in online learning and switch to virtual instructor-led training. With Panopto’s support, we relaunched our eLearning portfolio to encompass over 160 hours and 50 courses of deep 5G training, something we’re very proud of. Panopto has really helped us with this transition. We were able to embrace the eLearning paradigm much quicker.”

The Impact
Not only has Panopto powered QWA’s seamless transition to eLearning, but it’s also helped optimize the organization’s training operations. “Panopto allows us to make our training available to employees and customers worldwide. This saves us time and money by eliminating travel costs and reducing the strain on our instructor resources,” Malhotra said.
