Former Amazon and Microsoft Executive Brings Extensive Technical and Business Development Expertise to Leading Video Platform Provider

SEATTLE, June 26, 2013 – Panopto, a leading video platform provider, today announced that Sean Gorman has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO). A veteran digital technology executive, Gorman has more than 20 years of experience helping Microsoft, Amazon and others bring disruptive technologies to market. As COO, Gorman will lead Panopto’s sales, business development and operations.

Most recently, he was the director and general manager of Amazon’s Newsstand business where he transformed the e-ink newspaper model to a tablet magazine business, more than doubling Newsstand digital revenue.
